Pennsylvania’s Business Retention & Expansion Program

The Centre County Industrial Development Corporation (CCIDC) offers assistance to businesses through the Pennsylvania Business Retention and Expansion Program.  The program provides any business located in Centre County a business liaison to address assistance needs.

Business liaisons from the CCIDC call on existing companies in a proactive, systematic manner working with the company's CEO to identify and align programs that meet the Company's needs and speed the realization of new job creation and investment in our community.

In addition, the business liaisons serve as a source of additional information and trouble-shooting throughout the entire assistance process and into the future.  There is no charge to participate in the Business Retention and Expansion program. 

The program provides an opportunity to build and foster relationships with executives of businesses in Centre County with the goal of retaining existing employment and providing assistance for future growth and expansion opportunities.

Objectives of the program include:

• Thanking the company for being an important and valued member of the Centre County community
• Demonstrating support for the company and its Centre County operation
• Building positive relationships with corporate executives
• Promoting a positive progressive image of Centre County
• Encouraging a positive relationship exists between Centre County's public and private sectors
• Displaying a proactive approach to investors in Centre County
• Educating executives about available resources within the Economic Development system
• Informing business executives of successes, projects and events within Centre County
